A red blend from Argentina, my pairing may not have been ideal, but that doesn’t mean the evening was a complete failure.
It’s been a while since I reviewed something I actually bought at the store. To be fair, it’s been a while since I bought something new at the store (I’m a creature of habit). Check out my thoughts on this food-friendly rose’ from Bordeaux.
Notes of spice, cherry, and cassis, the 2018 Domaine Bousquet Reserve Cabernet offers good value for a sippable, versatile wine.
Good value from Italy without having to get a Chianti or Pinot Grigio? Who knew? Check out why I liked the 2017 Renzo Masi Erta e China (besides the fun name).
One of the better values I’ve had in a while from a sub-$20 Cabernet Sauvignon? Yeah, I was surprised, too.
